The Limited Supplier Insurance covers bodywork damage and theft. It doesn’t cover damage or loss of keys, tyres, windscreen, glass or undercarriage.

Damage and Theft excess is the maximum amount the lead driver pays in the event of damage, theft or incident. The excess amount depends on the car hire company.

The Excess Liability is the amount determined by the car rental supplier for which you can be held liable in case of damage/theft of the vehicle. Damage to or loss of tyres, windscreens, glass and undercarriage may not be covered by the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver). Please check with the rental agent at the desk.
If you purchase the Excess Reimbursement Insurance from a third party, the main driver will be required to present their credit card at the rental desk in order for the car rental agent to authorise the deposit.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

The main driver’s original full licence (physical driving licence) held for a minimum of 1 year(s) with no major endorsements. UK licence holders must present a photocard licence.
International Driving Permit is required. International Driving Permit must be accompanied by the original domestic licence of the driver.
The renter and all approved drivers must be in possession of a full, valid driving licence for at least one year. Furthermore, the following conditions apply depending on the issuing country of the driving licence.
International customers also have to be in possession of an international driving license.
International customers from Asia also have to be in possession of an international driving license in english.
Miskin supports Chinese customers with the necessary translations via Miskin WeChat Account or via following link: https://miskincarrental.com/. This or any other kind of valid translation of the driving license can only be accepted if accompanied by the original driving license.
All GCC nationals are permitted to drive on their respective countries national licenses.
If a driving licence from an EU country is provided in English, no international driving licence is required.
Please show a valid driver’s license and identity card/passport at the time of pick up!
Photocopies, digital licenses, Learner’s Permits, and driver’s licenses with driving restrictions will not be accepted.

Additional drivers can be added to your rental for a charge of 5.25 OMR per day. Includes 5% tax. Please pay for additional drivers at the rental desk when picking up your vehicle.

Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges, you will need to return it with the same amount of fuel as it had when you collected it. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved or charged on your credit card, this will be released or refunded when you return the car full. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. A refuelling charge may also be applicable.
Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details.

Special equipment/optional extras may be requested at the time of booking, but they are not included in the rental price. They are paid in the local currency at the rental desk.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries: United Arab Emirates.
A written permission issued by the Miskin branch is mandatory to cross the border.
For the written permission a charge of OMR 300.- /week applies.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.
Driving through Wadi and Sand dunes are restricted with all AWD SUV vehicles. AWD SUV vehicles are allowed to enter oman tourist location points at Jebel Akhdar and Jebel Shams.
Charges when traveling abroad
For travels abroad, additional charges may apply and are governed by the respective country of entry and must be requested at the local rental station. OMR 300.00

The vehicle displayed and models listed are the most common vehicles used by our car rental partners. We cannot guarantee the make or model of the rental vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.

A digital version of your car hire voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car hire company may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the car hire company on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car hire company may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed.

What is your cancellation policy for fully prepaid or part-paid bookings?
1 – If you cancel 48 hours prior to your pick-up, you will be refunded in full.
2 – If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of pick-up, you will receive a refund minus OMR135. If your online payment is less than OMR135, no refund will be made for your car hire booking.
3 – If your booking is made less than 48 hours before pick up, the cancellation policy will automatically apply to your booking.
4 – All cancellations should be made online via the Manage Booking page prior to the scheduled pick-up time and not with the car rental provider.
5 – You can make any changes to your booking up to 48 hours before pick-up, with no additional charge, however, live pricing will apply. If you amend your booking less than 48 hours in advance of pick-up, the amount you currently paid will be carried over to your new booking minus a late amendment fee of OMR29.00. If you have paid less than OMR29.00, no amount will be carried over to your new booking.
6 – If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before pick-up, you will be charged the cost of 3 days of your rental or OMR45.00, whichever is the greater. The maximum administration fee charged is OMR135.00. If your rental cost is less than OMR45.00, no refund will apply. If you have paid less than OMR45.00, you will not be charged more than you currently paid.
*The above does not apply if you have purchased an additional cancellation protection product available in some locations. This would allow free cancellation up to 1 hour before pickup.
If you purchased our Damage Refund Insurance product and have since decided to cancel your car rental booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will be cancelled automatically.
If you wish to amend or rearrange your booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will initially be cancelled. We will, however, automatically create a new policy for your new booking.
In both cases you will receive an email to confirm the cancellation at the email address you have provided during the online booking process.
Please be aware that if you cancel your insurance policy less than 24 hours before the start of your car hire agreement, no refund for insurance will be granted.
What is a no-show?
A ”no-show” occurs for the following reasons:
1 – You didn’t inform us about your cancellation prior to your pick-up time.
2 – You failed to pick up the car at the agreed time and date selected without notifying our customer service team of any delay before the pick-up time.
3 – Your flight is delayed which results in a late arrival at the rental desk and your flight number was not provided.
4 – You failed to provide the documentation that’s required to pick up the car.
5 – You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it.
In the event of any of the above, no refunds will be made to you.
The car hire company reserves the right to refuse a car if you fail to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car’s security deposit. In the event of late arrival to the rental desk, and you failed to make contact with our customer service team before the pick-up time or your incoming flight details were not added to your booking, we cannot guarantee that the car will be available. In such a case, unless the car hire has been cancelled at least 48 in advance, you will not be entitled to a refund.

It is prohibited for the customers to smoke inside the car for a neat and fresh experience with the next customers is guaranteed.

Make sure that only drivers who are listed in the rental agreement get into the rented vehicle.

They should park the vehicle in safe and designated areas and ensure they do not offend the society by engaging in activities that may compel people reject the product. Do not park in areas prohibited to park or in areas that one would be fined.

Make sure that the vehicle is protected from mishap by locking doors and windows whenever you are not using the car.


Customers are kindly requested not to take Their pets in the vehicle since they may cause unhealthy conditions or destruction.
